Auckland Rugby - ITM Cup and Club Rugby Brand Manager

North Harbour Rugby Union - Referee Education Officer (Full-time)

Auckland Rugby - ITM and Club Rugby Brand Manager

Auckland Rugby is one of New Zealand’s leading sporting organisations, responsible for the management of both the Auckland Rugby Football Union and the Blues Franchise. Based at Eden Park this role offers a fantastic opportunity to manage the ITM Cup and Club Rugby marketing campaigns, support the Sponsorship Manager and have some involvement in the execution of Blues Super Rugby marketing activity.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager you will manage some, and be involved in almost all, aspects of the promotional and marketing campaign work for ARFU, the Blues and club/junior rugby. You will also work closely with our sponsors on their related leverage campaigns. The successful applicant will attend all events such as promotional shoots, player appearances, awards functions, match fixtures and sponsor events, and will be part of the team that ensures their success and smooth delivery.

Auckland Rugby is made up of a small, dedicated and hardworking team and these opportunities do not come up often. The successful candidate will preferably have a marketing degree and a minimum of 3 years applicable work experience. The role is quite broad and we are looking for a real worker who is willing to help out the entire marketing/commercial team. This is a highly attractive position for someone at the beginning of their marketing career.

Please email your application to Leanne Hegan on leanne@heganassociates.co.nz or call her on 021 738 428.
