Talent Development Coordinator – Hawkes Bay Rugby Football Union
The Hawkes Bay Rugby Football Union (HBRU) is responsible for fostering and developing rugby in the Hawkes Bay. We are seeking a proactive, forward thinking and solution based individual to assist in the development of Hawkes Bay’s youth rugby players.
Responsible to the Player Development Manager, HBRU the post holder will be based at McLean Park, Napier.
The key focus of this position will be to coordinate the ‘Diamond Strategy’. This strategy will involve working with players and their parents primarily between the ages of U13 to U16. The successful candidate will ideally have experience in Long Term Athlete Development models, player identification and coaching, although this is not a pre-requisite. Further to this they will be able to effectively forge and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.

Northland Rugby Referee Coaches
The Northland Rugby Referees Association (NRRA) strives to recruit and retain quality community minded individuals that are passionate and committed to rugby in Northland. Referees are encouraged to deliver both, on field performances that promote and nurture quality rugby, and attitudes that encourage participation and camaraderie.
Northland Rugby Referees are looking for likeminded individuals to assist in coaching rugby referees. Prior knowledge of the game of rugby would be useful however other sport game philosophies may cross over. New coaches are needed to upskill new and current referees for the 2015 season. Coaching referees is done through observing referee performance both live and through video analyses. Successful applicants will be taught how to provide positive reinforcement coaching to improve referee performance.
All training will be provided through an extensive NZ Rugby Coaching Course, along with mentors and 1 on 1 education.

Ability to follow a concept and put it into practice
Have an approachable personality
