Your local Provincial Rugby Union has Rugby Development Officers dedicated to assist rugby coaches in clubs and schools in your area. They also have access to a variety of coaching resources and facilitate free coaching courses.
It is the role of the Rugby Development Officer to work with and upskill coaches in their region. This includes the junior rugby section of clubs. However, it is still important for clubs to be proactive in using Rugby Development Officer's in that role.
Regular contact with the local Rugby Development Officer will assist you in gaining their services when needed.
Create a communication plan where the Junior Convener schedules contact with the local Rugby Development Officer on a fortnightly basis during the season and then monthly in the off season. This way when your club needs the Rugby Development Officer's assistance it is as easy as picking up the phone and calling.
