Initiatives developed to ensure the safety of players

The New Zealand Rugby Union takes the safety of the game very seriously and have worked alongside the New Zealand ACC (Accident Compensation Corporation) to implement a number of initiatives including the requirement that coaches and referees are fully educated in the safe and approved techniques.
