Former Black Ferns, Vania Wolfgramm and Marina Canterbury will be running a 'Celebration of Wāhine in Rugby' event the Friday (20th November) before the 2020 Pasifika Aotearoa Festival.
The evening will include bite-size up-skilling opportunities with a focus on coaches, referees, managers and administrators. It's also an amazing opportunity to connect, mix and mingle with other people from rugby and, most importantly, to have FUN!
Guest speakers Katie Sadler from World Rugby and the newly appointed World Rugby board member and former Black Fern, Melody Robinson, will be joining us for a jam-packed fun-filled Friday evening before KO.
Vania said, "It is important to keep building the capability of the women in our game to continue to grow rugby and drive female sport. It’s exciting to be a part of the rise in women in our sport and the enthusiasm, energy and effort that is always on display in abundance at the programmes we run. Everyone is welcome, whether you are experienced in rugby or just looking to get involved, we would love to see you!"
