Charity Partner

New Zealand Rugby is committed to making a difference to the lives of New Zealand children and young adults.

Graeme Dingle Foundation

Rugby is at the heart of the communities the Graeme Dingle Foundation works in and many of New Zealand's top players are great examples of people who have overcome obstacles in their lives.

We are proud to work together with the Graeme Dingle Foundation to help young kiwis thrive and grow in their resilience and self-belief.

The Graeme Dingle Foundation aims to inspire all school age New Zealand Tamariki to reach their full potential through programmes that help build self-esteem, promote good values and which teach valuable life, education and health skills.

A fair society owes every child the conditions to thrive, belong and contribute meaningfully. The Graeme Dingle Foundation’s contribution to our society, is to help our young people develop mental fitness and resilience through self-belief.

An established child youth charity since 1995 named in recognition of Kiwi adventurer Sir Graeme Dingle who founded the not-for-profit organisation with his partner Jo-anne Wilkinson had a vision to improve New Zealands negative youth statistics.  The Foundation are leaders in positive child and youth development and currently work with over 27,000 five to 18 year olds throughout Aotearoa.

Graeme Dingle Foundation programmes have the potential to significantly benefit Aotearoa, New Zealand through a youth population who are better educated, have enhanced employment prospects, greater self-esteem and are healthy and motivated.

We want every child to know:  What you have inside is greater than any obstacle.

Not for Profit Support

New Zealand Rugby assists eligible New Zealand Not for Profit Organisations by providing 24 items annually to help raise funds through raffles and auctions.

Due to the large number of requests received, the recipients of the 24 items will be entered into a draw and chosen at random every three months. There will be one item allowed per organisation, with a maximum of six successful organisations per draw. Items will vary depending on the time of season but will generally consist of signed training jerseys, signed rugby balls and/or signed team photos.
