NZR Statement on COVID-19 Alert Levels

Like many other organisations, New Zealand Rugby is keeping a close watching brief on the latest change in COVID-19 Alert Levels. At this stage it is really a case of taking our lead from the Government and health authorities.

It’s too early to say what the current situation means for Sky Super Rugby Aotearoa and this weekend’s scheduled preseason matches, but we are working closely with the clubs to make responsible contingency plans for every possibility.

Like all New Zealanders, we are hopeful the Alert Levels are not in place for long and we will make our decisions with the health and safety of our people at the forefront of anything we do.
