Recover & Return

Recovery from concussion takes time. In community rugby, players must observe a minimum 21-day stand-down following a suspected concussion. This ensures player safety and allows the brain adequate time to recover.

During this period, players follow a step-by-step return to normal activity: first returning to school or work, then gradually progressing to rugby-specific activity, in line with best-practice medical guidance.
