Regional Cup and Carnival Events
There are competitions throughout the year across the country, instilling a love of the game in our age grade players.
Upcoming rugby events are available on our tournament week pages. Age-grade events that are supported by NZR can also be found on School Sport New Zealand.
Carnival events are less competitive and less structured, and may include modified sports or events with multiple sports.
Cup events are competitive/structured tournaments that are below the level of championship. They are available to grades other than senior/open, including junior events.
Championship events are the premier events across the sport for senior school athletes and have a more competitive, formal structure.
